In Lille, at the heart of EuraCreative, the 24 school and 24 Acting together form a center of excellence dedicated to film professions, from pre-production to post-production. They bring together directors, screenwriters, technicians and actors around a common ambition: to learn by doing, in conditions close to the professional environment.
What they do
Introducing School 24:
Founded in 2021, School 24 trains students for careers in film, from screenwriting and directing to editing, cinematography, sound, and post-production. Its teaching methodology is based on hands-on experience, collaboration, and a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process.
Students learn to tell stories, build multidisciplinary teams, and produce their own short films in an environment inspired by the professional world. Guided by professionals from French and international film and studios, they develop a strong foundation in visual storytelling, narrative, and teamwork.
Introducing 24 Acting:
Integrated within the 24 school, 24 Acting is a three-year program dedicated to the acting profession for film, television, and theater. The teaching methodology is based on practical acting exercises, actor direction, and collaboration with student directors and technicians from the 24 school, as well as those from ARTFX.
Student actors participate in numerous film and television shoots throughout their studies, exploring the different registers of acting and the conventions of directing. This immersive approach allows them to prepare for the practical demands of the profession and enrich their acting skills through on-set experience.
Introducing ARTFX:
Located on the same campus, ARTFX complements this creative ecosystem by training students in animation, visual effects (VFX), film, and video games since 2004.
Recognized as one of the world's best creative schools by The Rookies, ARTFX combines artistic expertise and technological mastery in its 5-year programs. The synergies between ARTFX, 24, and 24 Acting offer students a unique experience: working together on real-world projects that blend scriptwriting, filming, acting, and digital effects.
